that's funny, cause i had a dream that i was in a store with a knife in my right hand. someone came up to me, and i had to drive that knife in as fast as i could. ACK!!! what do these dreams MEAN?!!!

jk!! i didn't really have that dream. i'm just joking. stella, i would never try to harm you. i don't understand you sometimes, maybe, lots of times.

sometimes, you demand my attn inappropriately, when i am trying to talk to others, trying to find out what's going on in other ppl's lives.

then again, sometimes you go in a dark funk, and refuse to talk to me, acknowledge me, or look at me.

that's fine. well, actually, that's not fine. but i've made you cry many times already, and it is not easy on me to make girls cry. i don't like making ppl cry. i like to make them smile, and laugh. so, i'm not going to push this issue. i'm tired.

i would never purposely hurt you. you know i love you, and anything i say, it is BECAUSE i love you, as God loves ME.

i'm not going to spoon feed you just words upon words of love. that would be false. because along with those words of love come other things: discipline. teaching. correction.

i'm not an encouragement jukebox. i'm your friend, but i'm not your friend as you might think. i'm an older brother in Christ.

i'm also your YG TEACHER.

to a new year. to growth in Christ. to a new perspective. less introspection, less focus on the self, and more to those around us.
